#6 Bedroom

#6 Bedroom

Bedrooms #5 and #6 face the west and share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Designing the upstairs with shared baths was intentional. Even though we could have given every bedroom a private bath, we chose to design a more family- and community-oriented house that would encourage ongoing contact and relationships.

Another thought I had while drawing the plans was that the bedrooms connected by a shared bath would make a wonderful suite later, should the homeowners decide to host travelers or for other reasons want to offer residents or guests more privacy. It is a very flexible floor plan that can accommodate a lot of different lifestyles.
